Finished Ident

Here is the finished ident that I created.

Task one - Sources of Information

To gather my information on which was the best way to film, edit and create my Ident, I came up with many types of audience research and target audience to get the idea that I was looking for. I went on survey monkey and created a survey relating to my target audience asking them questions about my ident and what type it should be and the theme of it. This was very useful.

 For one of them I chose two styles/themes that i wanted to have which was cheeky and urban themed and by doing this research I discovered that a kind of cheeky and fun style would go better for my target audience which the age ranges from 13 - 20 years old. This was very useful and I highly recommend if for someone who aims for similar objectives. I also done many more to help me to complete and make up mind. Such as storyboards.

They are very good for putting ideas together and comparing. This is a okay way because they are next to each other and it is easy to compare which one would best suit my ident and from this storyboard I have chose the best one in my opinion which was the idea that I am doing now. This was also very good because it gave me a better understanding to what I want to do. In the story board I done rough sketches to give me and others who look at the drawing a idea of what I want. I also gave a clear description of is going on in the picture. This okay to use but i did not find it very useful because i already had a picture of the Idents that i wanted to do before i created a storyboard. 

The location visit sheet also helped me out a lot because it can remind me where my location is and the dangers and cautions I have to look out for whilst filming. This is from my pre production sheets that I have done on another post. Also I completed my risk assessment which highlights the possible dangers for the my filming crew and the actor. It has the solutions to what you should do if anything goes wrong. My production budget shows me the prices of all the equipment and the total cost of the filming all in together. I also did the contact details of everyone who is going to be involved with the shooting of my ident. 

And Finally the contingency plan is a short brief description of the Ident and what is going to be taking place in the ident, the shots and the reason behind why I am doing it. These were the best help because no matter what goes wrong i will always have the pre production documents that I can refer to.

For one part of my task I had to create pre production documents this includes the following;

I have already completed my Proposal. What I had to do was give a brief information what what i was going to do, so It will always be there for a reminder of what to do. so I can always refer back to it. Here is what it looks like; 

As you can see it is easy to look at and is very brief, which was my aim to make it like. 

This is the production budget for my ident. As you can see I have come up with all of the prices of all the equipment that I will need in order to be successful, and have worked out the total production budget.







 This will help me just incase I don't have enough or I go over my set budget. On the item side, it has everything that I need, and the cost. I can always refer to this later on during the making of my ident, and even my music video that I am going to producing.

This is my risk assessment. Here are the basic dangers that would be there whilst i would be filming and i have highlighted them and the solutions that would have to take place. I also have emergency contact numbers incase anything goes wrong and emergency services numbers that you would have to call.

Here is my Location schudule location. Here i give an brief explanation on where i am going to be filming. I have an image of where I am going to do it, and the location on google maps.

Here is my Contingency plan. here i have explained any problems that might occur whilst filming. This relates to the weather, the equipment and the actor etc.

Top three ideas, Survey

This is the little survey i created to get an idea of which one people would rather see whilst watching my music channel VIBE.

I gave a brief description of the ideas in separate boxes to make it clear and so you can tell them apart. I also put a little text box to each of the ideas so members of the public can text the one which they most like.

I have made it clear in what each are about, and what you have to do.

To know what I want to do, I asked the public to answer one question, with two answers. Here are the results, and as you can see Idea 2 was most favourable. I gave a good and basic description of the ideas and what they were and what they would include if I chose them.

Over half of the people that took this survey chose idea 2 and that was cheeky. so that is the idea that i am going with, because it would be most popular with the public, because if I chose idea 1, it would not go well with the public, and would be an unsuccessful and a waste of time.

To help me choose a theme for my ident, I came up with a survey which would help me decide this and on this survey I explained the differences between the themes, urban and cheeky and ask them to choose which one they prefer.

Storyboard

Before I designed the suit of indents I created a storyboard in which I could put different idents together and see which ones are the three I want to do. I am going to show you different ones that I drew, and I am going to explain what is going on in the picture.

 - This is a page full of idents that I created. As you can see there are many different types that i drawn, and i wanted to choose which one was best suited for my ident that I had in mind. You can see that some ident I coloured in purple because i think that colour best matches the word vibe and stands out clearly.

-  This is a Brainstorm that I done to bring different ideas together. This way I can clearly see what I have wrote down and what idea goes best with the ident that I created.

 - This is half of the Brainstorm that I done and you can see there are many different ideas to choose from.

 - This is the other side of my Brainstorm, as you can see it says urban because I was thinking of going for a urban theme for my ident, when it comes onto the green before my music video, because my ident has an urban look to it.

 _ this is an Idea that i created which was to be my ident onto of a fire burning. I think this is a good theme because it looks cosy, and is really a night time ident, or a christmas type of ident. Also its a bit cheeky as well, because thats the theme i am going to go for.

 - This one is loads of slinks falling down a stair case, this is because it would be fun to watch. But it would also be hard to get hold of loads of slinkies, so this idea is a maybe.

 - This is one of my favourite Ideas that i came up with. It is going to be someone throwing water into someones face, in slow motion. it links in with the theme and it is also not boring to watch.

 - This idea is going to be my ident on a brick wall, this is a urban style. I think it will go well with the style of the ident and the colour. It is simple but a good idea. Also it can be an urban ident, for example different urban scenes with the vibe logo.

 - This one is also a cheeky one that i came up with, it is a girl kissing a boy on the cheek and leaving a lipstick mark on him. I think its a good idea, because it represents people having a good time, and relationships with people for example friendships.

- This one is paracetamols being dropped into a glass of water and dissolving, representing the morning after a night out. I think this ident would be played during a saturday morning or a sunday morning.

 - This ident would be teenage boys in a car driving, listening to music and having a good time. This is a good idea because it relates to the target audience that the ident is made for, which is teenagers and young adults.

 - This is a egg cracking in to a pan, and being cooked, this will also be on in the morning if i choose to make it. It represents have an early breakfast.

_ This is a roundabout with cars going around it. My idea for this one was that I was going to speed up the footage, so it will make the cars go by faster. I think this is a good idea because it is simple and links in with a urban style.








- These are all of the designs for my ident that created, as you can see there are many and I chose one which  am currently using and I am happy with it, because it goes well to what I wanted at the start of this unit.
